Members and guests are warmly invited to join us for our Reunion events. The annual black tie dinner takes place at 7.45 pm on Saturday 3rd July preceded by a Reception at 7.00 pm. Our guest of honour is Angela Knight CBE, Chief Executive of the British Bankers' Association. She is a Bristol chemistry graduate and former Economic Secretary to the Treasury and member of parliament in the last Conservative government. Her presence will also mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the welcome admission of women students to Wills.
On Sunday 4th July 2010 the preacher at the Convocation service in Chapel will be the Rev John Caperon (Wills 1963-1965 BA 1966), director of the Bloxham Project, revisiting Wills for the first time in many years. After coffee we have what promises to be a lively illustrated talk at 12.00 noon by Tim Mowl, Professor of the History of Architecture and Designed Landscapes, on 'Eccentrics and the English Landscape'. He is also an expert on the Royal Fort House and gardens. An informal luncheon follows at 1.00 pm.
The WHA annual general meeting will be held in the Old Court Lounge on Saturday 3rd July at 5.45.pm.
