Any person who has lived at Wills for one term or more may apply for membership. Members of the Association are entitled to attend and vote at its meetings, receive the End of Year Bulletin, the Annual Yearbook (published in about April) and book places and accommodation in Wills for the annual reunion and dinner as well as come to the receptions held in London and Bristol. Those who opt in to having their details shared with other members find membership a useful way of contacting old friends and keeping in touch with the university. However, this is not compulsory and those who do not opt in on their form will have their details kept confidential.
The membership subscription is based on a period of five years. For the current period which expires at the end of December 2015 it was set from the beginning of January 2011 at £25 or £10 for students and recent graduates.
It is reduced pro rata for those joining in the second or subsequent year of a membership period. Joiners after October in a membership period pay only the pro rata subscription applicable to the remaining complete years of a membership period. Currently it is £20 or £8 for any resident student or former hall resident who graduated after 2006. This subscription will provide membership benefits for the period 2012-2015.
We have nearly 550 members a number of whom live in North America, Australia, Asia and Europe. Wills Hall vintages represent every decade and include graduates of 1940 through to 2011. Please do join us, as our reunions and receptions are enjoyed by members of all ages and our activities to benefit Wills students as well as hall itself are widely supported by the membership.
