The Association aims to keep former and current residents of Wills Hall in touch with one another, facilitate united action on items that impact the needs and wellbeing of Wills Hall, publish and distribute a Yearbook and to encourage support for the Wills Hall Association Memorial Fund. The full objectives can be found in the constitution.
In order to meet these objectives and for the purposes of the Wills Hall Association undertaking its legitimate interests, we collect, hold and use data from our Members. Data is collected at the time that Membership commences to establish contact details for information on events, updates on Hall life and the circulation of the Yearbook and the Annual Bulletin.
This data is held and used by the Wills Hall Association Committee and is not passed on to any third party persons or organisations. Our Members have the right, at any time, to request to see the data held relating to them.
In the event that Membership ceases, data relating to that Member will be deleted within a year.
Members must give explicit consent to be contacted at the time that the data is collected. Any data obtained before May 2018 will require explicit consent to be obtained separately for communications from the Wills Hall Association to continue.
If any changes are made to the processing, storage or use of data, this will be communicated to all Members before the change occurs.
If a Member wishes to withdraw their consent to be contacted, they can do so by contacting the Secretary
If a Member wishes to make a complaint about the collection, storage or use of data by the Wills Hall Association, please contact any Committee Member in the first instance or the Information Commissioner’s Office if the response is not satisfactory.
